As this was a project i did in college the brief was as follows:
-choose a stereotype and a specific demographic group (i chose hipsters).
-tailor the packaging of a tea box to appeal to above demographic.

I made this hip hop identity in response to a branding brief i recieved as part of my course. I wanted to focus on the more gritty roots of hip hop music and culture and not the shiny and somewhat, commercial entity it seems to be becoming today. The artist on the poster is an Australian MC called Trem. Check out his music here:
